Using your Crockpot add about 10 peeling and cored apples.
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar or to taste (some people use brown sugar)
1 tsp of cinnamon if desired
1/2 tsp nutmet if desired
Let it cook about 4 hours - mix and serve!

Yeah! Thank you for posting this Cherilyn! I've got to use up all these apples somehow. Slow cooker sounds like the way to go!
